had a pleasant weekend during October 2011 at the Southwest Counties
Wine Festival located at the Durrant Hotel, Bideford .

- Our skittle evening went well in
spite of the first prize being poured over the floor and as shown
here a wide variety of styles was used but still the balls went
between the skittles.

- Our December 2010 meeting was as
always designed to test the ingenuity of the members. This year
they each had to design a Christmas card and write a verse inside
to include the words 'Timsbury' & 'wine'. They were then
judged and the best card for design (Eileen's) and the best card
for the verse (Josie's) were signed and delivered to a couple
of our members who were incapacitated. A collection was held
in aid of the Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases realising
a total of £30. Below are photos of the evening.
